For this project, the idea was to move beyond a traditional single Christmas tree and create a more layered and visually engaging scene.
By designing two distinct trees with different materials and textures, the space immediately gains contrast and depth. The transparent balloon tree introduces lightness and a floating quality, while the soft-textured tree brings warmth and a sculptural presence.

The colour palette plays a key role in defining the mood. Instead of classic red and green, pastel tones are used to create a softer, more contemporary feel, making the design suitable for modern interiors and styled events.
Lighting is subtly integrated throughout the installation, enhancing the textures and adding a gentle glow that brings the entire scene to life.
Rather than being purely decorative, this setup is designed as a visual experience — a focal point that invites interaction, photography, and appreciation of detail.
This approach reflects a shift towards more design-driven festive styling, where atmosphere, composition, and materiality are equally important.
